This Garden Ball is made to be placed outdoors in your garden.  The sun and rain will not hurt it in anyway but I would bring it inside for long freezing temperatures.  I leave mine outside year round here in Florida but we only have a few hours of freezing temps. at a time.  It measures 10" tall by 7" wide and weighs 2.14 lbs.
